But hey, this gives me some "time off" as I can't develop any add-ons currently.

And I can confirm Viper is wrong. It does NOT work. It may on some of your systems but I copied over the FullScreenVideoPlayer and MainMenu and Vipers new Topbar mod and non of the are working.

You are correct Garasou. I was under the assumption that the XML's had to be moved to the default folder since it appeared the customized folder was not working. Sorry everyone for the confusion. Love the mods BTW Viper.

    Funcom

It appears that the most recent patch is creating some issues with custom GUIs. The developers are aware of the issue and are planning to correct it in the next patch.

In the meantime, -Viper's workaround should work.

I know this is a huge inconvenience for some, so thanks for being awesome.

it does work. (the work around)

thje current problem is a version check. tbh could be solved easily by mod makers by adding the line the client checks for for the current version, would be easier on the end users with certain mods that share file names of default gui elements.

Did you do a /reloadui or exit the game completely? Myself and a few friends followed Viper's fix and our mods seem to be working fine. Had to exit the game, copy files over and restart the game.

Using Viper's top bar, Cat's Team Gui, etc etc.

    Thanks for the reply Eff.

Though it makes me shudder to see a dev telling folks its ok to copy over default files for now (assuming they will back up and restore the originals later, heh)

It shouldn't be an issue, the way the patcher works for TSW is that if any files are missing it will redownload them, so when it's fixed all you have to do is delete your default/flash folder and hey presto the patcher will download a repacement.
